Kosha mangsho, It’s a authentic mutton curry from bengali cuisine. My love for Bengali cuisine started when I first visited Kolkata, they have a rich curries, crispy fish, best use of mustard and so on.. Being a North Indian not seen a rich use of mustard paste in our cuisine. I have loved their mustard sauce prawns and fish, the grainy texture of mustard is out of this world.
So today I tried my hand on their mutton curry which has simple masala’s but slow cooking makes it different. Inspired by @bongeats recipe, I have used their recipe.
This recipe goes well with naan/roti and rice with some pickled onions.
