BARS ( PLUM BARS)
This guilt free crumble bars which are crispy from the bottom, crumbly from the top and center layer is filled with fresh plum sauce.
They are healthy and delicious energy bars which goes perfectly with your tea time snacks or for kids evening snacks.
1. Bottom layer wheat flour, oats, coconut flakes, butter and honey. Mix well. Now evenly spread the layer on a baking tray. Bake for 5 min at 180 C. (Keep some wheat oat mix separately for crumbles topping)
2. Center plum layer: In pan add chopped fresh plums, add honey and some water. Put the flame on low. Mix well. When plum starts to get soft switch off the heat. Grind the mix and make a smooth paste.
3. Now put the plum sauce on baked wheat mix and sprinkle the unbaked wheat oat mix. Bake again for 10 min 180 C.
